Versatile energy generation

EPV Energy Ltd has 60 years’ experience of versatile energy generation in Finland. Operations focus on the management of power generation shares and increasing ownership value. EPV Energy acquires 1 200 000 MWh heat and 4 000 000 MWh electricity for their owners every year, which is equivalent to approximately five percent of the total energy consumption in Finland. The Group’s turnover in 2009 was 170.3 million euro.

Towards low emission energy generation

EPV Energy is determined to focus on emission-free energy generation. The company has initiated extensive bio, wind and nuclear energy programmes, with the aim of increasing the generation of renewable energy, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, and replacing fossil fuels with domestic fuels.
