Energy for the Finns
EPV Energy secures energy for its shareholders by being involved in significant nationwide energy enterprises and by owning shares in foreign power plants.
The nuclear energy programme
As far as nuclear energy generation is concerned, EPV relies on Industrial Power Corporation (TVO), which for over three decades has supplied the company with electricity from the safest and most effective nuclear power plants worldwide. EPV has a 10 percent interest in the Olkiluoto 3 enterprise, which will be completed in 2013. In addition, the company pursues a considerable interest in the Olkiluoto 4 enterprise currently under planning.
To EPV nuclear energy is a safe, reliable and inexpensive way to generate emission-free energy for Finnish people.
