Construction work on the Seinäjoki heat pump plant will begin in July
The project, which will be completed at the end of 2025, will produce approximately 45 GWh of heat per year, which corresponds to 8–9 percent of Seinäjoki’s district heating needs. EPV Energy’s subsidiary Seinäjoen Voima will reduce its annual CO2 emissions by up to 15,000 tons through the project.
Electricity production started at Heinineva solar park
EPV’s solar park in Heinineva, Lapua, began electricity production with the first panel blocks in late April. Commercial production at Heinineva will start in early 2026.
GigaVaasa’s electricity transmission is nearing operational readiness
The new Laajametsä-Finne 1 and 2 power lines will support the electricity supply to the GigaVaasa industrial area in the future. Developing the area’s electricity transmission is one of EPV Alueverkko’s most important projects of the year.
