EPV Energy has over 70 years of experince in sustainable energy production. A sustainable and ethical way to operate is the base of our business, which is visible in EPVs operations, way of thinking and leadership. We are purposefully investing in emission free and transmissable energy production. The company aims for carbon-neutrality by 2030.

 EPV is creating a cleaner world together with its employees and suppliers.

Our supply chain has over 500 international and national suppliers, who supports our project management and business operations.

News about sustainability

New pole bases prevent environmental impacts

EPV Alueverkko is replacing 50 creosote-treated pole bases on transmission lines in the South Ostrobothnia region as part of EPV Energy’s biodiversity action programme. The new poles, treated with copper oil and salt preservatives, help minimise harmful effects on the local environment.

Liutula observation site enriches the power line corridor

The observation site located on EPV Alueverkko’s transmission line in Liutula, Ylistaro, is the first of its kind in Finland in terms of scale. Established by the Finnish Forest Centre, the site provides valuable insights into how power line corridors can be utilized to support biodiversity and ecosystem vitality.
