Jukka Paavola has been appointed EPV Alueverkko’s Managing Director, starting from the 1st of July 2024. Paavola has extensive experience in regional grid operations and the construction of electricity transmission networks. He has worked as head of maintenance at EPV Alueverkko since 2012. Before joining EPV Alueverkko, Paavola worked for Enersense PN Oy in its substation team, and later as a substation engineer and branch manager, and also as regional manager overseeing, for example, the maintenance contracts for Fingrid’s and EPV Alueverkko’s electricity networks.
“For many years, Jukka Paavola has successfully managed numerous construction projects for EPV’s electricity distribution networks. His extensive experience, willingness to keep learning more and the contacts he has built up during his career make him ideally qualified to lead and drive EPV’s network business forward successfully.
